Morgan Philips is partnering with a fast-scaling global SaaS company to identify a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and professionalise its global procurement function. This role represents a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, international organisation at a critical inflection point. Procurement has the scale, visibility, and executive sponsorship — what’s needed now is a hands-on leader who can execute, transform, and develop talent. The Role: As Senior Procurement Manager, you will own the day-to-day execution of global procurement, personally leading complex negotiations while driving a significant transformation of tools, processes, and ways of working. You will act as both operator and coach: setting standards, building scalable processes, and developing a team of category managers across technology, SaaS, cloud, and professional services spend. Key Responsibilities: Execution & Deal Leadership • Lead or co-lead high-value and complex negotiations across SaaS, cloud, technology, and professional services, • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle end-to-end: scoping, RFx, evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract execution, • Drive a robust pipeline of savings initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes, • Act as the primary escalation point for supplier issues, contract risks, and active deal challenges Process & Systems Transformation • Design and roll out a scalable global procurement operating model (intake, approvals, P2P, CLM), • Lead the selection, implementation, and adoption of procurement tools (e.g. Coupa, Zip, SAP Ariba or similar), • Build and embed category playbooks, contract templates, sourcing frameworks, and supplier onboarding standards, • Establish spend visibility, analytics, savings tracking, and vendor performance dashboards, • Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and IT to integrate procurement seamlessly into the business Team Development & Leadership • Act as hands-on coach to category managers, reviewing deals and elevating negotiation quality, • Set clear performance standards and individual development plans, • Foster a learning culture through sharing market intelligence, best practices, and negotiation techniques, • Build long-term team capability, enabling category managers to grow into senior, independent operators Candidate Profile: • 8–12 years of procurement experience, with 3–4+ years in a senior / lead hands-on role within a technology or SaaS environment, • Strong reputation as an executor: pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, • Proven experience leading procurement process or systems transformations, • Track record managing and developing junior or mid-level procurement professionals, • Deep expertise across SaaS, cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), IT hardware, and enterprise software, • Strong negotiation experience across complex, multi-year contracts in EU and US contexts, • Experience with modern procurement platforms (Coupa, Zip, Ariba, or similar), • High analytical capability: spend analysis, savings modelling, and business case development, • Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus, • CIPS, CPSM, or similar certification valued Why This Role?
