The Opportunity We are seeking a driven and commercially sharp Sales Executive to join our dynamic Lube Desk in Valencia. This is a hands-on role for an experienced sales professional ready to own a portfolio, grow new business, and make an immediate impact in the marine lubricants market. You will take full responsibility for developing and managing client relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue across multiple international markets. Working alongside our commercial team, you will play a key part in expanding our footprint and strengthening our partnerships with shipping companies around the world. This role involves regular travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and develop new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the marine fuels and lubricants sector, • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, building long-term commercial relationships across multiple time zones, • Engage daily with prospects and clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and representing Stem Fuels with professionalism, • Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, and all supporting commercial documentation, • Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure the seamless execution of supplies, • Travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade events, and pursue new avenues for business development, • Continuously research market trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify opportunities to increase market share Candidate Profile • 2–3 years of proven sales experience, ideally within marine fuels, lubricants, or a related commercial/trading environment, • Expert command of English (written and spoken); fluency in Spanish and additional languages is highly desirable, • Naturally social and personable, with the confidence and charisma to engage international stakeholders at every level, • Highly dynamic and energetic, thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, • Hard-working and committed, with a strong sense of ownership and a determination to exceed targets, • Highly organized and structured, able to juggle multiple priorities without compromising on quality or attention to detail, • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, • Willing and able to travel regularly, and to work flexibly outside standard hours when needed to support clients and the team What We Offer • A competitive salary with a performance-based commission structure, • The opportunity to manage your own portfolio and directly influence your earnings and growth, • Direct exposure to senior members of our commercial and sales teams, • A collaborative team culture built on shared values, commitment, and excellence, • The chance to build your career within a growing, internationally recognized company at the heart of the marine fuels and lubricants industry How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV to career@stemfuels.com at the earliest opportunity.
