📍Location: Mijas (on-site) 🏢 Idiliq Group ⏱️Employment Type: Full-time Idiliq Group, a leading company in the tourism and hospitality industry, is seeking a Reservation Agent to join our Reservations team. This is a fully on-site position based at our facilities in Mijas Costa, Málaga. As part of a dynamic and customer-focused team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations, handling client communications and ensuring an exceptional customer experience aligned with company brand standards. The role also includes the coordination and management of group bookings and events, requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail. This position involves regular interaction with clients and internal departments, making strong communication, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach essential. 🔹Main Responsibilities Manage incoming reservation requests via calls, emails and messages in a professional and timely manner. Administer new and existing reservations, including modifications and updates. Accurately process booking requests in line with company procedures and pricing. Act as the main pre-arrival contact for clients, with a particular focus on groups and events. Coordinate and manage group bookings and event-related reservations. Track and communicate client requests effectively across departments. Process payments securely, including credit card transactions. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information. Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive client experience. Develop a strong understanding of resort products, services and pricing. Collaborate with colleagues and support team objectives. 🎯Requirements Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in customer service, call centre, reservations or front desk roles. Experience working with PMS systems such as Opera Cloud, Opera or similar. Knowledge or exposure to revenue management and market tools such as IDEAS, Duetto, OTA Insights or STR Global. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. High level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible and adaptable approach to work schedules, including weekends and holidays if required. Strong customer-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive attitude. 🌟Preferred Qualifications and Skills Additional languages will be considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Comfortable using web-based reservation systems, helpdesk tools and digital platforms.
