Would you like to contribute to this as Operations Assistant in our Málaga Teatinos residence? We are looking for a dynamic, versatile operations assistant, who is eager to join a student residence with 228 rooms and the activity this entails. You will be working in an educational environment, with an exclusive package of services and accommodation in an exceptional location. Your responsibilities: • You are the (first) face of our reception at the student residence, • You take care of our customer service; you help students at the counter, by mail, and over the phone, • You manage reservations and therefore the check-in and check-out process. You provide our students with the necessary keys and cards, • You accompany visitors and future clients during open days, a tour of the facilities, etc., • You support the administration office, • You monitor the building and take care of coordination between the different departments (cleaning, catering, maintenance & gardening), • You apply the necesary protocols in emergencies This position requires an 8-hour workday in rotating shifts (morning/afternoon) from Monday to Sunday, ensuring the necessary rest periods between shifts. Role: Backend Java Developer (Senior) Location: Málaga, Spain (Hybrid) Type: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Define and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend integration. Deploy, manage, and monitor services in the cloud using AWS and Kubernetes. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments. Integrate and manage asynchronous communication via queueing systems. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and frontend developers; participate in code reviews and architecture discussions. Must-Have Skills Professional backend development experience with Java (11+). Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Production experience with Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, service discovery. Solid understanding and hands-on implementation of CI/CD pipelines. Professional experience with AWS, including services such as ECS/EKS, RDS, S3. Experience working with message queues — specifically AWS SQS (or SNS, Kafka). Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL). Hands-on experience with Docker. Nice to Have Experience with observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Familiarity with security practices (OAuth2, IAM roles, JWT). Experience working in startup or early-stage product environments. Additional Info Remote work considered once team is established English fluency is required Spanish is a plus but not mandatory. You’ll be working closely with the Product Owner, who will be hands-on in coding and code reviews.

A passion and knowledge for the specialized cycling and running sector is requested.
