You will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle—leveraging your deep expertise in C#, WPF, and .NET 8.0 to build high‑performance applications—while also guiding the development team through Agile principles as a servant leader. /p pIf you thrive on navigating ambiguity, utilizing modern AI‑supporting tools, and are passionate about both exceptional code quality and team empowerment, this is the perfect opportunity to make a lasting technical impact. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Engineering Development (75%) /h3 ul liSoftware Development Lifecycle: Participate fully in all phases of software development, including feasibility studies, design, development, testing, bug fixing, and ongoing software maintenance. /li liDesign Implementation: Produce unit and subsystem specifications based on software requirements, project architecture, and guidelines. Accurately design and implement code, including the necessary tests to verify functionality against specifications. /li liTeam Collaboration Planning: Self‑organizing and proactive in defining, estimating, planning, and implementing work packages within the development team. Provide timely work status updates and issue notifications to the team and project management. /li liQuality Assurance Review: Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of personal source code and, upon request, the source code of peers. Review application design, functionality, usability, and performance to drive enhancements. /li liAmbiguity Management: Possess the ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain forward progress. /li liRole Type: Function as a Fullstack Developer. /li /ul h3Scrum Master Responsibilities (25%) /h3 ul liAct as a servant leader for the development team, applying Scrum principles to facilitate progress, resolve conflicts, and increase transparency. /li liEmpower the team by removing blockers and applying proven Agile techniques to drive continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pYou are a proactive, collaborative software engineer who excels at navigating ambiguity and taking end‑to‑end ownership of technical problems. You possess a strong analytical mindset, are passionate about data‑heavy infrastructure, and thrive when facilitating team progress and empowering others to succeed. /p h3Qualifications Skills /h3 h3Education and General Experience /h3 ul liEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field. /li liExperience: Generally 7+ years of experience in professional software development. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liProgramming Frameworks: Highly skilled in C#, WPF, and .NET 8.0. /li liDatabase Expertise: Experience with SQL Server, including database design and the use of ORMs like Entity Framework. /li liVersion Control: Good working knowledge of Git/GitHub. /li liDevelopment Practices: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). /li liTool Proficiency: Good skills in utilizing AI‑supporting tools throughout the entire development lifecycle (coding, testing, bug fixing). /li liEnvironment Setup: Basic experience in defining Build Environments. /li liExcellent English communication and interpersonal skills. /li /ul h3Scrum Master Skills /h3 ul liFirst level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I). /li liExperience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. /li liGood skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. /li liKnowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach. /li /ul pAt Roche, you’ll thrive in a culture that values different perspectives and creates a place of belonging, where we challenge ourselves to excel and achieve strong results, together.
