Fluidra builds digital products for both consumers and professionals — from mobile apps that help pool owners enjoy their pools to B2B mobile apps used by pool professionals to diagnose and service pools. Our digital portfolio is growing, and so is the design team responsible for it. We’re looking for a Sr. Design Systems Designer to establish and evolve the shared foundation that powers our regional mobile design systems. You’ll partner closely with Regional Product Design Leads to define the shared design language that powers our digital products. While regional teams own product experiences and feature design, you’ll own the reusable components, design foundations, governance, and tooling that enable those teams to build consistently and efficiently. You’ll focus on building scalable design system foundations, driving alignment across regions, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to ensure our design systems evolve as a connected ecosystem rather than a collection of independent solutions. What You’ll Do • Own the roadmap for the global design system. Lead the strategy, evolution, and adoption of a unified global mobile design system across multiple regional applications., • Design, build, and maintain the design token architecture, component libraries, interaction patterns, and documentation that power all regional applications., • Maintain the global Figma libraries, variables, and release process to ensure consistency across regional teams., • Partner with regional design teams to identify opportunities for standardization while respecting market-specific requirements., • Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure design system components are accurately implemented and remain aligned between design and production., • Establish lightweight governance, contribution guidelines, and review processes that encourage collaboration while maintaining quality and consistency., • Serve as the organization’s design system expert, providing guidance, design reviews, and consultation to product teams., • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to prioritize enhancements based on product strategy, customer needs, and technical feasibility., • Create clear documentation, usage guidelines, and best practices that enable teams to adopt and contribute to the design system with confidence., • Champion accessibility, usability, and platform-specific best practices across all shared components and patterns., • Monitor adoption and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through greater component reuse and standardized design practices. What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Interaction Design, with significant experience building and maintaining design systems., • Demonstrated experience creating or evolving mobile design systems for iOS and Android applications., • Advanced proficiency with Figma, including component libraries, design tokens, variables, and documentation., • Understanding of design system governance models and contribution workflows., • Strong understanding of mobile platform guidelines and accessibility standards., • Experience collaborating closely with software engineers to translate design systems into production-ready components., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority., • A systems-thinking mindset with strong visual design, interaction design, and information architecture skills., • Experience working across multiple products, business units, or international teams., • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have • Experience unifying multiple regional or brand-specific design systems into a shared global framework., • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or mobile frameworks to better collaborate with engineering teams., • Experience working in global organizations with distributed design and development teams., • Background in localization and internationalization considerations for digital products., • Experience measuring and improving design system adoption through usage metrics and team feedback., • Curiosity about emerging AI-assisted design and development workflows, and an interest in exploring how new tools can improve design system creation, documentation, and collaboration., • Awareness of agile delivery processes and sprint-based workflows, • Experience with IoT or hardware-connected digital products What Success Looks Like • Regional teams actively adopt and contribute to the global design system., • New product features leverage reusable components before creating new patterns., • Design and engineering stay aligned through shared libraries and documentation., • Teams spend less time recreating UI and more time solving customer problems., • The design system evolves as a trusted platform that supports product innovation across regions.
