Your Role As Country Manager Spain (m/f/d), you own the strategic and operational agenda for building, scaling, and commercially driving the Spanish market. You bring new franchise partners on board, help existing offices grow into thriving businesses, and establish KENSINGTON’s footprint in the country’s top regions. The role is deliberately hands-on: you combine sharp strategic thinking with the drive to roll up your sleeves and make things happen – with real room to shape the business and an exceptional career trajectory. Your Responsibilities Strategic Market Development & Expansion • Systematically growing and strategically developing the Spanish market across all key regions (incl. Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, Balearic Islands, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Canary Islands)., • Designing and executing a clear, end-to-end go-to-market and expansion strategy – with roadmap, milestones, and KPIs to match., • Finding, winning, and building lasting relationships with franchise partners across Spain., • Building and scaling a high-performing partner network and strategic alliances (developers, family offices, legal and tax advisors, media). Business Development & Sales • Working the market proactively and with structure: spotting opportunities on your own initiative and actively reaching out to potential franchise partners., • Owning and rigorously managing a strong sales pipeline – from first contact through qualification to bringing new partners on board for KENSINGTON., • Bringing the KENSINGTON story, brand, and business model to life in a way that convinces qualified prospects to commit to a long-term partnership with us., • Representing KENSINGTON at industry events, trade fairs, and in the right networks – as the face of the brand in the Spanish market. Onboarding & Success of Franchise Partners • Running a structured onboarding process for new franchise partners – bringing them up to speed on content, processes, and culture, and integrating them fully into the KENSINGTON system., • Actively advising, supporting, and developing both existing and new offices – with the clear goal of growing their revenues sustainably and helping our partners thrive as entrepreneurs., • Spotting growth levers, sharing best practices across offices, and providing ongoing performance coaching to partners., • Making sure KENSINGTON’s brand, quality, and service standards are upheld across every office in Spain. Structural Development & Collaboration with HQ • Putting in place efficient, scalable processes and structures for the Spanish market – the foundation for long-term, sustainable growth., • As the business grows, you will step by step build out a strong team to support you in sales and partner development., • Working closely with our international headquarters and central functions – acting as the bridge between HQ and the Spanish market, and as the on-the-ground multiplier of everything KENSINGTON stands for., • Helping shape KENSINGTON’s country organization in Spain with an entrepreneurial mindset – hand in hand with our international headquarters in Switzerland. Your Profile Languages – Absolute Requirement • Fluent, professional Spanish – written and spoken, native level preferred. (Must), • Fluent, professional English – for working with HQ and our global partners. (Must), • German is a clear plus and makes working with our German-speaking headquarters easier. (Nice to have, not a must) Experience & Competencies • Several years of leadership and/or entrepreneurial experience – ideally in real estate, franchising, luxury, or consulting., • A proven track record in building markets, growing networks, and driving expansion – ideally in Spain., • A deep understanding of the Spanish real estate market, its key target groups, and the regulatory landscape., • Sharp strategic thinking paired with a true hands-on mentality – you think big and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done yourself., • Experience leading and motivating teams, partners, or franchisees. Personality • An entrepreneurial mindset, high self-drive, and a real hunger to build something., • A natural communicator – you connect on equal footing with everyone from investors to brokers, and people listen., • Proactive, open-minded, and bold: you reach out, take initiative, and aren’t afraid to break new ground., • A strong sense of service and quality – fully in line with what the KENSINGTON brand stands for., • A confident, polished presence and a strong network in the right circles.
