Job title: Project Operations Management Location: Bois Colombes, France (Regular Travel to Istanbul, Türkiye) Client: EPC Employment Type: Minimum 6 months, extendable up to 12 months About the Role As Project Operations Manager (POM), you will be accountable to the Project Manager for the safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of project operations in line with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You will coordinate all marine spreads involved in project execution, ensuring readiness of vessels, logistics, and personnel to deliver offshore operations successfully. The role also includes providing input during tender stages to optimize marine resources, planning, and logistics across projects. Key Responsibilities: • Define operational scope of work in coordination with engineering and vessel teams., • Lead preparation of vessel readiness, logistics, and offshore execution plans., • Manage planning, budgeting, and coordination of onshore and offshore operations., • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response readiness., • Oversee mobilisation and demobilisation of vessels, personnel, and project equipment., • Interface with internal stakeholders including SCM, engineering, fabrication, and project controls., • Liaise with clients, ship owners, local authorities, and third-party suppliers., • Participate in project risk reviews, lessons learned, and operational debriefs. About You You are an experienced offshore operations professional with strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. You excel at managing complex logistics and vessel operations in a project-driven environment. Qualifications & Experience: • Degree in engineering, marine, or related technical discipline., • Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations, including at least 5 years in offshore environments (pipelay, flex-lay, subsea construction, or diving works)., • Strong understanding of logistics, immigration, customs, and import/export processes., • Fluent in English (French is an advantage)., • Proficient in MS Project and capable of developing and managing execution schedules., • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills., • Ability to adapt quickly to changing operational and project demands.
