We are looking for a reliable and experienced Butcher to join our halal meat processing team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a stable working environment.
Main Duties
- Prepare halal poultry and meat products including lamb, chicken, and beef.
- Ensure compliance with Islamic dietary requirements during the butchering process, working alongside Muslim slaughtermen where required.
- Trim, cut, and debone meat to company quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the butchering area.
- Handle raw meat safely and follow food safety procedures at all times.
- Monitor meat stock levels and work with production teams to meet customer orders.
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Support the efficient operation of the meat processing plant.
- Ensure customers receive fresh, high-quality meat products.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a butcher or in a meat processing environment.
- Knowledge of meat cutting and preparation techniques.
- Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet production targets.
- A responsible and professional attitude toward quality and cleanliness.
