Training may be off-site.RequirementsEssentialThe Site Maintenance Worker will be able to demonstrate the following skills: Strong experience in most or all required areasGood housekeeping skillsExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailHealth & Safety conscious at all timesFull Driving Licence heldCommon sense approach to problem solvingProfessional and approachable personalityFocused can-do attitudeStrong work ethicProficient in Microsoft products and other aspects of IT usage The RoleAs the Site Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the whole site. The role is based at our Preston site to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of a busy manufacturing unit.Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the key responsibilities associated with this role are: Repair work to brick walls around the factory, e.g. pointing, brick replacement, re-bedding work, etc.Demolition of walls and structuresBuilding of new walls and structuresGroundworks around the factoryRoofing & guttering repair workRepairs to and replacement of flooring, e.g. timber, asphalt, tarmac, concrete, etc.Building of internal structures, e.g. timber stud walls, etc.Other general building maintenance tasks, e.g. rendering, painting, etc.Procuring materials as required to fulfil duties, as well as liaising with suppliers/local wholesalersLiaising with third-party contractors for work beyond our scope Please note - feedback regarding unsuccessful applications will not be possible due to the large number of applications.Whats next?
