About the Role


Our client is seeking a reliable, organised, and professional Administrative & Customer Service Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a growing business.


This remote role combines administrative support, customer service, document management, and business correspondence. The successful candidate will help ensure enquiries, documentation, and incoming correspondence are managed accurately, efficiently, and confidentially while supporting the wider operations team.


Administrative & Business Support


  • Maintain organised digital records and documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general administrative tasks.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Business Correspondence


  • Process, organise, and maintain records of incoming business correspondence and documentation.
  • Scan and digitally file documents where required.
  • Escalate urgent or time-sensitive correspondence promptly.
  • Coordinate the forwarding of documents when necessary.
  • Ensure all correspondence is handled securely and accurately.

Customer Service


  • Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Provide accurate information regarding company services and processes.
  • Record customer enquiries and follow-up actions.
  • Escalate complex enquiries where appropriate.
  • Deliver a professional and friendly customer experience.

Email Management


  • Monitor shared business inboxes.
  • Organise and prioritise incoming communications.
  • Maintain accurate communication records.
  • Respond to enquiries in accordance with company procedures.

Essential Requirements


  • Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work.
  • Willing and able to work remotely.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Experience


  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, reception, office support, or virtual assistance.
  • Experience managing business documentation or correspondence.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or customer support software.
