    Gas Engineer Job – Hemel Hempstead Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Overtime Available | Performance Bonus Are you a motivated, career-driven Gas Engineer looking to join a company that genuinely values hard work and rewards performance? We are a family-run, growing heating and plumbing company based in Hemel Hempstead, and we are looking for an experienced and reliable Gas Safe Registered Engineer to join our team. We work with a diverse client base, including Housing Associations and private domestic customers, giving our engineers a varied and consistent workload across both social housing and private residential properties. Working Hours & Benefits • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, • Overtime available, • On-call rota (one Saturday in every four), • Company van & fuel card, • Company pension, • 22 days holiday + bank holidays, • Performance bonus scheme, • Ongoing training & development, • Staff events, • Supportive, family-run environment Gas Engineer Duties & Responsibilities • Boiler servicing and maintenance, • Boiler installations, • Boiler breakdowns and fault finding (all major boiler brands), • Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), • Installing gas cookers, hobs and range cookers, • Central heating pump replacements, • 2-port and 3-port valve replacements, • Power flushing systems, • Working on unvented and vented cylinders, • Diagnostics and repair work, • Completing detailed reports and submitting job photos Essential Skills & Requirements • Gas Safe Registered (valid licence required), • Full UK driving licence, • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Gas Engineer, • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (preferred), • Unvented qualification (preferred), • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, • Excellent communication and reporting skills, • Team player with a professional attitude, • Ideally based in or around Hertfordshire If you are a hardworking, reliable Gas Engineer looking for long-term career progression with a company that recognises and rewards effort, we would love to hear from you. You will ideally have previous experience working within a busy kitchen environment, working both independently and within a team. You will need: Appropriate supervisory experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene or Catering Services. NVQ Level 2 or 3 Energetic, passionate and proactive attitude Experience of working to deadlines and adhering to budgetary requirements.
