You’ll create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest children can develop and thrive. As Baby Room Supervisor, you’ll plan engaging, age-appropriate activities, support your team’s practice, and build strong relationships with families to ensure every child feels safe, secure, and valued. We’re looking for someone with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare and at least two years’ experience working with babies or young toddlers. Job Description To lead and manage the baby room (for children aged approximately 9 months to 18 months), ensuring the highest quality of care, learning, and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Main Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise and support the baby room team, ensuring effective communication and teamwork., • Lead planning, observation, and assessment in accordance with EYFS requirements., • Maintain high standards of care, learning, and hygiene within the baby room., • Support staff development and ensure staff ratios meet statutory requirements., • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, sensory-rich activities for 9–18-month-olds., • Build positive partnerships with parents and carers., • Ensure the room and equipment are safe, clean, and well-maintained., • Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies., • Maintain accurate daily records and contribute to continuous improvement planning.
