Design Engineer Sheen, Buxton £28,000 - £35,000 - Depending on experience Design Engineer required for a well-established equipment manufacturer based in Sheen, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will be joining a well-respected company and will be responsible for utilising Solidworks to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings. • Designing systems and products with the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software, • Preparing detailed specifications and technical drawings, • Researching suitable solutions and producing cost quotations, • Producing electrical harness drawings using 3D design software, • Creating Bill of Materials, • Ensuring projects meeting legal and safety requirements, • Either degree qualified within an Engineering related subject or equivelant experience within a Design Engineering role, • Proficient with the use of Solidworks, • Based in a commutable distance of Sheen, Buxton, • Able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers, • IT literate with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
