They are now looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Client Assistant Manager. Part-time candidates will also be considered. Your New RoleAs a Client Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients and act as a key point of contact across phone, email, and virtual meetings. You will also handle occasional on‑site client meetings. Your work will be varied and hands‑on, giving you exposure to a range of small practice clients and the opportunity to support a small accounts team. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing statutory accounts for small to medium Ltd companies, including corporation tax computations, • Producing unaudited accounts for sole traders and partnerships, • Preparing self‑assessment tax returns, • Overseeing and supporting a small team of accountants, including reviewing work, • Managing your own portfolio, ensuring deadlines and client service levels are met, • Liaising with HMRC on client queries, • Representing the firm professionally and building strong client relationshipsWhat You Will Need to Succeed, • At least 3 years’ experience in a small practice environment, • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, • Confidence in preparing statutory accounts, • A proactive, positive attitude, • Strong IT skills including MS Office and familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage (Sage experience advantageous), • Flexible working arrangements, • Option to consider part‑time hours, • A supportive, down‑to‑earth team environment
