Children's Book Bus Driver required to work with a local Leicester based authority.\n\nI am looking for a professional driver to drive a bookbus with a second person (library assistant or manager) to various locations in and around the Leicester area and assist with the day to day operation of community library services.\n\nDrive the Children's Book Bus to various locations around Leicester City, including regular street stops, visits to schools and early years settings, and appearances at festivals and events.\n\nYou will also be responsible for maintaining vehicle security and standards as well as undertaking vehicle checks:\n\nMake sure that before driving a vehicle, it is in a fit and serviceable condition by carrying out daily and weekly routine checks as directed. Conduct weekly safety checks, including fire precautions as instructed or inform the Development Librarian if immediate action is required.\nMaintain any vehicle in a clean hygienic & tidy condition both inside & out.\nClean the inside of the bus e.g., by hoovering, wiping down surfaces, walls etc.\nClean the outside of the bus with jet wash if required and on any occasions where the large vehicle wash is out of action.\nEnsure the vehicle is carrying the correct equipment.\nDrive vehicles to & from maintenance depots for servicing & repair.\nReturn the vehicle daily to the appointed placeThis is a temporary position working 13:00pm - 20:00pm Monday to Thursday (possibility for additional hours at weekends)\n\nPay rate: £16.78 P/H umbrella.\n\nRequirements: \n\nCPC qualification - licence for 7.5 tonne vehicle.\nFull UK Driving LicenceInterested?
