Following our acquisition of Blaze Networks, we’re expanding our Networks division — and we’re looking for an inspiring Head of Network Sales to drive our growth in SD-WAN, SASE, and managed network services. This is a brand-new leadership role with the opportunity to shape the next phase of our network sales strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you’ll lead a high-performing sales organisation, drive significant revenue growth, and position Communicate as the trusted connectivity and network partner for mid-market and enterprise customers. About the Role As Head of Network Sales, you’ll own the commercial strategy and performance of our Networks division spanning SD-WAN, SASE, and enterprise connectivity. You’ll build and optimise scalable sales processes, drive new business, and expand existing relationships across mid-market and enterprise clients. Working closely with Marketing, Product, and Service Delivery, you’ll ensure Communicate’s network propositions from SD-WAN to full-fibre connectivity deliver tangible outcomes for our customers. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on leadership in a PE-backed environment built for growth. What You’ll Be Doing • Owning growth: Take full ownership of network sales performance, delivering sustainable revenue across SD-WAN, SASE, and connectivity services., • Scaling new business: Build, manage, and optimise a structured outbound and inbound sales process to generate high-value new client wins., • Maximising existing accounts: Partner with Account Management and Customer Success to drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities., • Leading from the front: Recruit, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to exceed ambitious targets., • Building relationships: Strengthen strategic partnerships with Fortinet, Cisco, and connectivity providers such as Openreach, Virgin, and other wholesale partners., • Driving innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, and the evolution of secure, intelligent connectivity., • Optimising performance: Use Salesforce, ZohoCRM, Apollo.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track performance, improve pipeline velocity, and drive data-led decision-making. Technical Scope (what you know and sell) SD-WAN & SASE (core): • Fortinet: Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, FortiGate NGFW, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, FortiSASE, and ZTNA., • Experience across FTTP, FTTC, leased lines, on-net fibre, and multi-carrier design., • Partnerships with UK carriers including Openreach, Virgin Media Business, and other network operators., • Exposure to Veeam, Datto, Acronis, Azure Backup, and business continuity solutions complementing network resilience. Who We’re Looking For • Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior sales leadership within enterprise networking, managed services, or IT infrastructure., • Deep technical and commercial understanding of SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust (ZTNA) frameworks., • Strong background in Fortinet and Cisco ecosystems., • Experience across connectivity solutions (FTTP, leased lines, carrier relationships, and on-net designs)., • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services, network monitoring, SOC/NOC, and ITSM-aligned managed services., • Proven success leading high-performing B2B sales teams and delivering multi-million-pound growth., • Strategic thinker with hands-on drive, commercial acumen, and executive presence.
