Kitchen Porters \n Location: Holmbury St Mary (Must Drive) \n Pay: £13.50 per hour \n Hours: Various part-time positions available \n Our client recruiting Kitchen Porters to join the catering team at a well-established school in Holmbury St Mary. This is an ideal opportunity for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working as part of a busy team. \n \n Available Hours \n\n • Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm – 40 weeks per year, term time plus Summer School\n, • Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–7:00pm – 35 weeks per year, term time only\n, • Saturday–Sunday, 10:00am–7:00pm – 40 weeks per year, term time plus Summer School\n\n 5.6 weeks' paid holiday included. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dining and food preparation areas.\n, • Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and catering equipment.\n, • Supporting the catering team during busy service periods.\n, • Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and storage.\n, • Moving food, equipment and supplies safely around the school.\n, • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.\n, • Following school policies and completing required training.\n\n About You \n The successful candidate will be: \n\n • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.\n, • A good team player with a positive attitude.\n, • Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.\n, • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and moving stock safely.\n, • Committed to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.\n, • Willing to learn and undertake relevant training.\n\n Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, Cleaner or in a similar role is desirable but not essential. \n Safeguarding \n The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
