This is a lovely, short visit where your compassion and confidence will make all the difference. Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 6:00pm – 6:45pm Perfect for someone looking to top up their hours with a consistent package. About the Role You will be working as part of a double-handed care team, providing: • PEG feeding support (experience desirable), • Gentle reassurance and companionship, • Dementia-aware support Responsibilities • Assist resident with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans, • Support residents with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible, • Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided, • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure consistent and compassionate support, • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety policies, • Document observations and any changes in residents’ conditions accurately, • Follow organisational policies regarding confidentiality and safeguarding at all times What We’re Looking For • Experience with PEG feeding, • Experience supporting clients with dementia, • Domiciliary or complex care experience preferred, • You must be reliable, punctual and respectful, • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, • Basic IT skills for recording care notes and updating care plans, • Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided, • Ability to work independently during evening shifts while collaborating effectively with the team, • Driving licence is advantageous for supporting outings or transportation needs, • Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals, • Organised approach to managing multiple tasks efficiently during shifts What We Offer £16.81 – £23.00 per hour Fortnightly pay Uniform and PPE Supportive, approachable management A caring team environment where you are valued Please Note This advert is specifically for this TN15 6DX evening package only!
