We have e-bikes with top speeds of 25km/h with some shops equipped with only e-bikes to ensure an efficient delivery service! We're also offering a fantastic opportunity for cyclists to become a moped driver! You can complete a CBT course with 50% paid by the company (terms and conditions apply).     OOOZE is a specialty coffee and toastie venue serving fresh food in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. We are looking for someone who can prepare exceptional espresso-based drinks and consistently great toasties quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. You will: • Prepare espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks to a consistently high standard., • Calibrate grinders and dial in espresso at the start of each shift, adjusting throughout the day as needed., • Demonstrate strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grind adjustment, and milk texturing., • Prepare toasties and other grill items quickly, safely, and accurately., • Monitor cooking equipment and follow food safety and hygiene standards., • Take customer orders, process cash and card payments, and provide excellent service., • Keep coffee and food preparation areas clean, organised, and ready for service., • Assist with opening and closing duties and support colleagues during busy periods. You should have: • Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment., • A strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and grinder calibration., • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail., • Reliability, punctuality, and availability for a consistent roster., • Good communication skills in English., • A self-motivated, positive, and can-do approach. Experience working with a grill, preparing toasties or sandwiches, or in a high-volume café or fast-casual restaurant is desirable.
