As an Accounts Advisor, you'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, helping them understand their finances and supporting better business decisions.This role offers genuine variety, excellent client exposure and clear opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative team.The RoleWorking alongside Managers, Associates and Directors, you'll manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting the wider Accounts team.Responsibilities will include:\n\n • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders\n, • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns\n, • Producing management accounts and financial reports\n, • Preparing and submitting VAT returns using cloud accounting software\n, • Supporting clients with bookkeeping and digital accounting solutions\n, • Assisting on audit assignments where required\n, • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser\n, • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members\n, • Mentoring and supporting trainees and junior colleagues\n, • Identifying tax planning and business advisory opportunities\n, • Working closely with senior leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience\nThis is a broad role combining accounts preparation, advisory work, cloud accounting and client relationship management.The CandidateThe successful candidate will ideally have:\n\n, • ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or studying towards qualification)\n, • Experience gained within UK accountancy practice\n, • Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation\n, • Experience preparing corporation tax and VAT returns\n, • Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero\n, • Excellent communication and client-facing skills\n, • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members\n, • A proactive approach with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed\nWhat's On Offer\n\n, • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements\n, • 33 days holiday including bank holidays\n, • Pension with salary sacrifice option\n, • Ongoing learning and development opportunities\n, • Employee referral bonus\n, • Health and wellbeing support\n, • Electric car scheme\n, • Cycle to Work scheme\n, • Regular social events\n, • Professional development and career progression\n, • Modern, collaborative working environment\n
