About the role As a Youth Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide individualised tutoring sessions, support their learning needs, and inspire them to achieve their potential. Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that provides work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability and supporting job creation in various sectors. Key tasks and responsibilities Delivering training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support, and motivate learners to enhance their skills and progression opportunities. Develop creative lesson plans incorporating differentiated teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience. Planning and supporting the learner in their individual learning journey. Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion. ? Essential requirements Previous experience working as a tutor, trainer, or mentor for young people. Previous experience working with NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals. Minimum Level 3 qualification or Degree equivalent. Good level of Math and English GCSE C, Level 5 or above Ability to engage, motivate, and support young people in a learning environment.
