Reed recruitment are currently working in partnership with a major component supplier based near Newbridge in South Wales. This company have seen a significant growth period over the last 6 years due to some big contract wins and have also kept business levels high by working with such a diverse portfolio of customers. The are now looking for a new Warehouse Manager. \n This role will be an excellent opportunity to join a high performing team. This role will involve all day-to-day warehouse operations, management of the staff team, the fleet of delivery vehicles whilst also championing the sustainability message through the business. \n Are you a dynamic and motivated warehouse leader looking for the next step in your career? You’ll lead a committed warehouse team, develop people, optimise processes, and ensure smooth end-to-end operations that directly support service excellence. \n As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, from inbound receipt through to despatch, ensuring that stock is moved efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about continuous improvement. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your team, refine processes, and make a real impact on performance, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. \n Benefits & Salary \n\n • £35,000 - £40,000 p/a\n, • Company pension scheme employee contribution 5% company match at 3%\n, • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + 4 Day shut Down + 1 Day Birthday off\n, • Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 17.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 16.00pm\n, • Profitability Bonus 7.5% shared with employees - Paid Quarterly\n, • On site Parking\n, • Excellent refurbished working environment \n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment\n, • Involvement in company sustainability and environmental initiatives\n\n Key Duties & Responsibilities \n\n • Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to deliver daily operational requirements\n, • Manage inbound and outbound activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and despatch\n, • Monitor, analyse, and report on warehouse KPIs and performance trends\n, • Optimise staffing levels, shift patterns, and labour allocation\n, • Review and improve warehouse layout and stock flow processes\n, • Manage company vehicles, ensuring compliance, maintenance, and efficient utilisation\n, • Act as Sustainability Champion for waste management, recycling, and environmental initiatives\n, • Produce SECR reporting and contribute to annual EcoVadis reviews\n\n Required Skills & Experience \n\n • Experience in a warehouse management or senior supervisory role\n, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams\n, • Knowledge of warehouse operating systems (including Sage 200)\n, • Intermediate Excel skills\n, • Understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements\n, • Effective communication and problem-solving skills\n, • Strong decision-making capability and ability to work under pressure\n, • Highly organised with a continuous improvement mindset\n, • Customer-focused, results-driven, and a positive role model\n\n Should you require any additional information, or should you wish to apply for this role, then please do not hesitate us.
