ElectroMechanical Engineer needed for a leading Kent-based manufacturer. Up to £50k DOE, flexible home working, and the chance to drive value engineering, product improvement, and technical innovation. ElectroMechanical Engineer Location: Edenbridge (with some home working) Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE Our client, a long-established and highly respected technology manufacturer, is seeking an experienced ElectroMechanical Engineer to lead value engineering and cost‑down initiatives across their product portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving product performance, resolving technical challenges, and supporting new product introduction. Why join our client? Key Responsibilities • Lead value engineering and cost‑reduction activities, • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and components, • Analyse and test new designs to validate performance, • Collaborate across teams to integrate systems effectively, • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues, • Produce and update schematics and technical documentation, • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, • Improve the performance of existing products, • Manage project timelines and technical milestones, • Liaise with suppliers for component selection, • Provide technical support to wider engineering teams, • Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies Skills & Experience • 3+ years of electro-mechanical design experience, • Strong CAD and simulation software proficiency, • Proven project management capability, • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, • Confident communicator with strong teamwork ability, • Experience with embedded systems and firmware (desirable), • Knowledge of automation or robotics (advantageous), • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field, • Strong understanding of engineering principles, • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, • Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities, • Understanding of relevant compliance and safety standards Morgan Jones is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
