Working within Consentia’s network of specialists, the Advisor helps organisations implement, maintain, and improve their data protection frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct audits of data processing activities and identify compliance gaps, • Advise on GDPR obligations and risk mitigation strategies, • Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls, • Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), • Provide guidance on records of processing activities and data governance, • Collaborate with DPOs, clients, and internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance, • Keep clients informed of regulatory updates and best practices Profile Required: • Proven experience in GDPR, data protection, or privacy advisory roles, • Strong understanding of GDPR requirements, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks, • Excellent communication and advisory skills, • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team network, • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, • Experience with SMEs or diverse client environments is a plus Collaboration & Structure: • Freelance / Independent Consultant role within the Consentia expert network, • Flexible, project-based assignments, • Direct collaboration with the founder and other experts, • Commission-based remuneration or project fees Objective: To provide practical, high-quality data protection advice that enables clients to meet GDPR obligations, reduce compliance risks, and build strong governance frameworks while contributing to the growth of Consentia’s expert-led advisory model.
