We have operated a popular Italian restaurant in South London for over 30 years and have built a strong reputation with the community we serve. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Duties • Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities., • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards to maintain a safe dining environment., • Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are met consistently., • Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills in hospitality and customer service., • Manage inventory, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations without wastage., • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and motivates employees to excel in their roles., • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
