FLT Counterbalance Operator Hours: Mon-Fri 2 shift rota (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm) OR Nights (10pm till 6am) Rate: £13.90 per hour for days & £15.50 per hour for nights. Long-term opportunities for the right candidates Proman Recruitment is currently looking for Counterbalance Operators on behalf of our Client who is one of the largest food co-packers. You would need to able to work either a2 shift rota (weekly shift changes) or a fixed night shift. FLT Counterbalance Operators The Role As a forklift truck operator, your main duties would include: • loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans, • moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, • stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, • checking loads are secure, • stacking empty pallets, • performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric) The Candidate To be successful, you need to: • have previous experience in operating Counterbalance truck, • be punctual and reliable, • be able to organise and prioritise workload, • have good numeracy and literacy skills
