We’re hiring an experienced Regional Manager (North of the UK) to join my team, leading a high-performing team of ten Business Development Managers (BDMs) to sell our OOH advertising solutions to SMEs and public sector organisations. What we're looking for: An experienced sales leader who knows how to get results and more importantly, how to bring people with you. We’re looking for someone who: • Has a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, ideally in media, OOH advertising, or a fast-paced B2B environment, • Is a natural coach and motivator, passionate about developing people and driving individual and team performance, • Thinks strategically and acts decisively to build a regional sales plan and roll up your sleeves to make it happen, • Loves data. Forecasting, CRM hygiene, and pipeline accuracy are second nature, • Builds strong client relationships, bringing senior-level credibility and gravitas to every meeting, • Is entrepreneurial and adaptable, thriving in a fast -paced business where no two days are the same, • Champions culture and values. No two days are the same, a day in your shoes might look something like this… 9:00 AM – Coaching that counts Start your day with a 1:1 on patch helping a BDM shape a winning proposal. You’re not just chasing numbers, you’re unlocking potential and building confidence. 11:00 AM – Out with the team Join a rep on a client visit. You lead from the front, offering guidance and credibility as the senior face of Alight Media in the region moving opportunities forward. 2:00 PM – Pipeline with purpose You review your team’s pipeline. You spot the gaps, identify quick wins, and use clean CRM data to sharpen forecasts and coach next steps. 3:00 PM – Turning insight into impact Jump on a virtual session with the Sales Director to align on priorities. Your local knowledge helps shape the bigger picture and drive national results. 4:30 PM – Building belief End the day with a team huddle or mini skills session. You champion development, celebrate success, and leave the team fired up for tomorrow. Every week, you’ll be… • Leading and inspiring a team of 8+ BDMs to smash revenue goals, • Owning recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, • Shaping regional strategies aligned with national priorities, • Acting as a brand ambassador in the market and your community, • Using data, insights, and a human touch to drive results What success looks like in your first 6 months: Together, we’ll set the stage for strong, sustainable growth. By the six-month mark, you’ll be able to say: • Your team is consistently hitting individual and collective revenue targets, • Your BDMs are confident, skilled, and engaged — aligned with our values and supported in their development, • You’ve built a healthy, high-quality pipeline of new clients and opportunities, • You’re proactively generating new business from direct advertisers, agencies, and public sector partners, • You’ve established yourself as a trusted, collaborative partner to the Head of Direct Sales and the wider leadership team, • You’re representing Alight Media with passion and professionalism, both in the market and in the community If this sounds of interest email me at or send your CV to for more details.
