Where you fit in: As our Modeller you will: Develop high-quality urban drainage models to support hydraulic and environmental water quality assessments. Support delivery of key regulatory outputs including: Storm Overflow Discharge Reduction Plan, Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP)Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP) Shape technical guidance and drive innovation in modelling practices. What skills & qualifications you will need: A degree in a relevant discipline including some modelling activity and/or previous experience in urban drainage modelling Competent in the use of specialist modelling software, e.g. InfoWorks ICM as used within Yorkshire Water Knowledge of how sewerage systems operate Strong data manipulation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail. Understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic calculations A working knowledge of GIS Software Able to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) and proven experience of developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
