CUSTOMER OPERATIONS ADVISOR Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Customer Operations Advisor to support on-site operations within a busy industrial environment in the Broughton area. ROLE: Customer Operations Advisor PAY RATE: £12.81 per hour (£26,644.80 per annum) Overtime available: 1.5x Monday–Saturday, 2x Sundays CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary (initial 3 months, potential extension) LOCATION: Broughton, Chester WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch) ABOUT THE COMPANY: A leading specialised industrial service provider, delivering high-quality solutions that help keep industry moving efficiently. THE ROLE: The Customer Operations Advisor will support day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient order processing, strong supplier coordination, and excellent on-site customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Raising and processing orders using internal systems, • Expediting orders and liaising with suppliers via phone and email, • Handling customer-facing interactions on-site, • Managing email and telephone enquiries, • Conducting stock checks and inventory support, • Assisting with movement of stock across departments (may involve use of company vehicle), • Supporting general administrative tasks on-site, • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Strong IT literacy, including professional email communication and data entry, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, • Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks where required, • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or within a team DESIRABLE: • Full, clean UK driving licence (beneficial but not essential), • Previous experience in a similar operational or customer-facing role ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: • Interviews will be conducted face-to-face on-site (one-stage process), • Hiring manager availability may vary due to annual leave and bank holidays, • Good public transport access via nearby bus routes (limited train access), • Supportive on-site team environment
