We are looking for a passionate Care worker to join Southern Housing. As a Care Worker you will work as part of the team providing person centred care & support to residents living at Byrnhill Grove, our registered care home in Ventnor. Youll be flexible to respond to their individual needs, assisting them with intimate personal care when required and ensuring their environment is safe and secure, following health and safety requirements and carrying out care plans and risk assessments. You must be physically able to undertake manual handling and you will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Services check. Please note, this role is part time, working 30hours per week. This may include some intimate personal care. Deliver care in a way which promotes independence, rights, choices, and inclusion in the community. Practice within the criteria set out in the Care Quality Commission standards ensuring residents have an up-to-date care plan and risk assessment which reflects their individual needs and wishes.
