Chalk Hill Group are working with a dynamic and fast-paced international business based in Portsmouth, seeking an experienced Italian-speaking Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and thrives on accuracy, organisation, and managing high volumes of financial data. Key Responsibilities: • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently, • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies, • Liaising with Italian-speaking suppliers via email and phone, • Preparing and processing payment runs, • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes, • Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks as required About You: • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken), • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, • Confident communicator with the ability to build supplier relationships, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems What’s on Offer: • Competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, • Supportive and collaborative team environment, • Opportunity to work within an international business, • On-site role in Portsmouth Chalk Hill Group is a Recruitment Agency.
