ManufacturingTechnician: We currently have an exciting opportunityfor a Manufacturing Technician to work a Double Day Shift pattern in Portsmouth Introduction The primary role of the ManufacturingTechnicianwill be to run large complex computerised equipment, logging results and data and working to achieve high quality standards. Responsibilities: Running, setting and operating of large complex machinery Loading of materials to ensure steady stream of production Work to high quality standard to produce the products Work to the site's health and safety procedures Participates in 5S methodology and ensures work areas are clean, tidy and HSE compliant Ideal Experience: Although full training will be provided due to the complexity of the machines and controls, the Manufacturing Technician will need to haveprevious manufacturing / productionexperience, a good level of computer literacy and a can-doattitude andwillingness to learn new skills. Any previous experience or knowledge ofengineering drawings or manufacturing experience would beideal. The equipmentused on site is semi-automated and have computerised controls, the machines and robots are setup,monitored and run by the Technicians and work to high quality standards. There is a lot of computerised controls and touch screens involved for this role.
