Duties • Perform MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles Class 4 only, adhering strictly to legal and safety standards., • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, including brakes, lights, suspension, emissions, and other key systems., • Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs or adjustments identified during testing., • Maintain accurate records of all tests performed, including detailed reports on vehicle condition and test outcomes., • Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as replacing worn parts or performing minor repairs when necessary., • Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained regularly for optimal performance., • Skills, • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components., • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive diagnostics and repairs., • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle inspections or repairs., • Excellent attention to detail to identify faults accurately during testing procedures., • Good communication skills to explain findings clearly to customers or team members., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
