We offer mentorship and resources to help you acquire a Scheme Actuary certificate. You will take an active role in leading a portfolio of clients and serving as a client manager for some of them. How you'll make an impact To summarise the role, you will be working within an established team of qualified and part qualified actuaries; acting as an actuarial assistant for portfolio of clients. This will include: • Handling the preparation of valuations and cost estimates, • Undertaking and supervising accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19 and USGAAP), • Coordinating data collection including editing and testing data received from clients, • Undertaking and checking all aspects of actuarial work associated with pension schemes, • Preparing letters, reports and other client materials, • Checking day to day individual calculations as requested, • Participating in Buck internal projects, handling special projects or assignments as needed, • Assisting scheme consultants with the consultancy aspects of pension schemes; inc. attending client/trustee meetings as required We are excited to connect with hard-working individuals who hold a degree in numerical or mathematics fields and are making strides in their actuarial exams.
