Senior Systems EngineerDevon (Hybrid/Flexible Working)Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering cutting-edge technology to defence and maritime customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a systems engineering professional looking to work on complex, mission-critical products from concept through to in-service support. You'll play a key role in the full engineering lifecycle, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for highly regulated environments. The Role As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll take responsibility for the design, development, integration and support of advanced engineering systems, ensuring projects are delivered to demanding technical and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:\n\n • Defining, managing and verifying system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.\n, • Supporting technical aspects of bids and proposals.\n, • Leading systems integration, verification and qualification activities.\n, • Planning and executing product trials, testing and validation.\n, • Producing and managing technical work packages.\n, • Supporting design proving, commissioning and in-service support activities.\n, • Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.\n, • Providing technical guidance and contributing to continuous improvement across engineering projects.\n About You We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong technical background and the ability to work across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
