a reliable, organised and proactive Caretaker / Lettings Coordinator to join our Site Team. This is a key front-of-house role supporting community use of our sports facilities while also contributing to the safe, secure and effective day-to-day operation of the school site. This post would suit someone who enjoys working independently, has strong customer service skills, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Working Pattern Shift patterns will be worked between the following hours: • Monday & Friday: 17:30 – 21:30 Please note: this role includes periods of lone working. Key Responsibilities Lettings & Customer Liaison • Act as the first point of contact for external hirers using the school’s sports facilities, • Manage and oversee bookings using the School Hire online platform, ensuring all required documentation is in place, • Respond professionally to enquiries and queries from external clients, • Prepare facilities for use, including setting out and returning equipment, • Supervise lettings sessions, responding to requests or issues as they arise, • Complete accident and incident reports where required, • Report concerns, faults or improvement needs to the Site Manager and Trust Estates Manager, • Ensure compliance with emergency procedures, including fire evacuation and lockdown, • Ensure the security and safety of the premises, including gates, doors and windows, • Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs (e.g. painting, lamp changes, installing noticeboards), • Support room and event set-ups, including exams, meetings and assemblies, • Assist with portering tasks and contractor supervision when required, • Maintain external areas, clearing litter, debris and weeds, • Monitor site safety during adverse weather conditions, • Undertake basic cleaning tasks when cleaners are unavailable, • Carry out regular inspections of school minibuses, • Participate in an out-of-hours alarm call-out rota Essential Skills & Experience • Experience working within a school, sports or community lettings environment, • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure, • Confident, professional communication skills (written and verbal), • Competence using IT systems, including Word, Excel and online booking platforms, • A current First Aid qualification, • Experience working in a school environment
