Locum Oncology Pharmacist We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Oncology Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital through our agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with oncology experience to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting cancer treatment services. The Role You will provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to oncology and haematology services, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) and oncology medicines management. Key Responsibilities • Clinical screening and validation of oncology prescriptions, • Supporting chemotherapy and SACT services, • Providing specialist clinical advice to consultants, nurses, and wider MDTs, • Reviewing and optimising oncology treatment regimens, • Supporting aseptic services and oncology governance processes, • Ensuring compliance with national cancer treatment protocols and safety standards, • Patient counselling and medicines education Requirements • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), • Previous NHS oncology pharmacy experience essential, • Experience working with chemotherapy/SACT services, • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail, • Ability to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team Rates • Competitive market rates which are negotiable depending on experience
