Studio Assistant – Pottery Painting Studio & Café (Weekend availability required) We are looking for a friendly, creative, and reliable Studio Assistant to join our pottery painting studio and café. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for creativity, and thrives in a lively, hands-on environment. Responsibilities include guiding customers with painting techniques, colour choices, and design ideas, preparing materials, and ensuring all finished pieces meet studio standards. You will support events, workshops, birthday parties, and themed activities, as well as assist with glazing and preparing items for kiln firing (training provided). In the café, you will deliver excellent customer service, take orders, prepare drinks and simple food items, operate the till, answer customer enquiries, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages. The role also involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation across both the studio and café, clearing and resetting tables, washing tools, following health and safety procedures, and keeping equipment and public areas tidy. You will help with inventory by restocking paints, pottery materials, café supplies, and cleaning products, rotating stock, and reporting when items need reordering. Additional duties include unboxing and pricing new stock, packaging completed pottery for collection, taking phone bookings, and supporting the team during busy periods. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time — Pay: £12.25 per hour — Expected hours: 16–40 per week — Work Location: In person. We’re a small creative business looking for a self-employed Marketing Assistant to join us part-time. This is a flexible role (approx. 6-8 hours per week) and would suit someone creative, organised, and confident on social media. What you’ll do: • Content creation - help brainstorm, film, and edit content for our clients and our own brand (including being comfortable in front of the camera)., • Design - create graphics, posts, and marketing materials using Canva., • Social media management - schedule and post across Instagram, TikTok and other channels, plus light community management (comments/DMs)., • Email marketing- learn and use Klaviyo to design and send email campaigns., • Website updates - help keep our Squarespace website up-to-date and fresh., • Marketing support - assist with research, content calendars, and tracking results. What we’re looking for: • Confident, creative and social media savvy., • Comfortable both on camera and behind the scenes editing., • Skilled in Canva (basic design experience)., • Willing to learn new tools like Klaviyo (email) and Squarespace (website)., • Able to commute locally once or twice a week for in-person content days (office is in Fulham, London W6)., • Self-motivated, organised, and reliable.
