Job Title: Maths & English Tutor Liverpool \nLocation: Liverpool (in-school, home-based, or online sessions) \nPay Rate: GBP30 per hour (minimum, may increase based on availability) \nJob Type: Part-Time | Flexible Hours \n \nAbout the Role \nWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths & English Tutor to join our team in Liverpool. This flexible, part-time role offers GBP30 per hour minimum, with the potential to increase based on your availability. You will be working with students who have high Special Educational Needs (SEN), so the ability to build strong relationships and manage challenging behaviours is essential. \n \nSessions will take place during school hours and can be delivered in school, at the students home, or online, depending on your availability and student needs. The role is for approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for more hours depending on demand and your schedule. \n \nKey Responsibilities \n \nDeliver engaging and tailored Maths and English lessons that meet the individual needs of each student. \nSupport students with high SEN needs, building their academic confidence and helping them to overcome learning challenges. \nManage and address challenging behaviours using supportive and effective strategies. \nTrack student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and relevant school staff. \nDevelop and implement personalised lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles. \n \nEssential Requirements \n \nExperience teaching or tutoring Maths and English at primary or secondary level. \nConfidence in supporting students with high SEN needs and managing challenging behaviours. \nStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. \nYou must be cleared to work with children (DBS check required). \nReferences from the last two years of employment will be requested. \n \nAdditional Information \n \nThe role is part-time, with sessions taking place during school hours (Monday to Friday). \nSessions can be held in school, at the students home, or online, depending on your preferences and the needs of the students. \nFlexible working hours, with the possibility of increasing hours based on availability and student demand. \nFull support, resources, and guidance will be provided to help you succeed in this role. \n \nApply now to help students in Liverpool succeed and grow academically in a supportive and rewarding environment
