The Role You will manage your own caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters from inception through to resolution. Key responsibilities will include: • Analysing evidence and conducting investigations, • Drafting detailed advice and reports, • Interviewing witnesses and preparing statements, • Instructing experts and Counsel, • Attending CMCs, hearings and conferences (remotely or in person where required), • Negotiating settlements, • Preparing cases for trial and ADR You will also: • Delegate to and mentor junior colleagues, • Assist on higher-value and complex claims, • Maintain strong client relationships, • Deliver client training and presentations, • Contribute to thought leadership and publications, • Support business development initiatives, • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Health practice, • Have the opportunity to undertake client secondments About You This role will suit a solicitor with 3+PQE who is confident managing defendant clinical negligence work and comfortable operating within a remote structure.
