Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Huddersfield to recruit a Teacher of Girls' Physical Education. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated PE specialist to inspire female pupils and promote physical wellbeing, teamwork and resilience through sport. The Role The successful candidate will: • Deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls across Key Stages 3 and 4, • Plan and teach engaging, inclusive and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum, • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively, • Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and the wider life of the school, • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification, • Have recent experience teaching Girls' PE in a secondary school setting, • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills, • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, • Paid to scale from day one, • Ongoing support from a dedicated, experienced education consultant, • Access to professional development and training opportunities Veritas Education is an equal opportunities employer.
