Senior Design Engineer \nStructural Steelwork \nWest Yorkshire \n£50,000 - £60,000\nFull Time, Permanent\n\nKey Skills: Senior Structural Engineer, Hot Rolled Steel, IStructE, ICE, Eurocode 3, BS5950\n\nWe are working with a well-established structural steel fabricator who has over 50 years of experience. They are looking for a senior design engineer to add to their expanding team, where you will be involved through concept to final installation, on projects from commercial, educational and residential.\n\nAs a Senior Design Engineer, you will:\n\nProduce both manual and software design calculations.\nRaise necessary queries and co-ordinate information with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.\nWork within design budgets and QA procedures.\nLiaise with other department within the business as deemed necessary to meet all project demands.\nAssist in training graduate design engineers.\nMaintain great working relationships with clients to achieve excellent feedback.What we are looking for:\n\nMinimum 10 years' experience of structural steelwork design including knowledge of relevant British and European design standards/codes.\nWill be degree educated ideally working towards incorporated or chartered status.\nExperienced in structural steelwork frame design, member design and steelwork connection design.\nConversant in using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, and Masterseries.\nExperience in designing temporary works would be advantageousIf you are interested in working for an employee-owned trust where progression is at the forefront, then please apply before or contact Annie Parker on (phone number removed) for a confidential chat.\n\nThis employer is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
