Youll work closely with the Hostel Manager and Deputy Manager to keep the hostel running smoothly day-to-day, while also being a visible, hands-on leader to our nights team. Youll manage the security of the hostel overnight, ensuring the safety of all customers and overnight guests and that noise and disruption within the hostel and grounds is kept to a minimum. What will you be doing as a Night Manager? We are a friendly team and will provide the training required for you to undertake the role. However, there is plenty for you to get stuck into from day one, including: Directing and supporting team members Resolving difficult situations and emergencies in a professional and efficient manner Ensuring the security of the hostel Ensuring regular hostel inspections are carried out Carrying out cleaning duties Preparing for breakfast service What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Night Manager? Our Night Managers are responsible for ensuring the quality of service is maintained throughout the night, delivering excellent service to all of our guests and giving them a great experience with YHA.
