What’s more, you’ll have access to our great benefits package including: \n\n • A salary up to £43,198 per annum.\n, • A generous pension scheme of 19%.\n, • Overtime opportunities through standby and incident pay.\n, • 27 days holiday (increasing at 3 and 6 years of service up to a maximum of 30) + 8 bank holidays\n, • Two additional days for paid environmental outcomes giving you the opportunity to take part in community activities. \n, • Training and professional development time.\n, • Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geography, Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental Science etc.).\n, • Good knowledge of groundwater protection issues and relevant environmental legislation.\n, • Proficiency in producing, analysing and presenting a range of environment data to develop evidence and solve technical issues.\n, • Knowledge of river and/or coastal flood risk, maintenance, and management techniques. \n, • Experience of applying geomorphology in a range of settings and within a relevant sector such as consultancy, government or environmental organisations. \n, • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\n, • Hands-on experience with nature-based restoration and / or engineering projects.\n, • Knowledge and understanding of: Environmental permitting\n, • Local and national planning.\n, • Water Environment Regulations (especially hydromorphology). \n, • Skilled in problem-solving and influencing. \n, • Self-motivated, organised, and supports others through mentoring or coaching. \n
