The SHE team The Future Systems & Technologies Safety, Health & Environment team provide competent SHE support, advice and resource to our manufacturing & FalconWorks® business areas. Reporting to the Future Systems & Technologies SHE Advisor, it is made up of a group of SHE Associates (SHE professionals or SHE Specialists). The team support the implementation of various SHE management systems & provide specialist technical SHE support on exciting development products or platforms, and carry out various day to day activities related to safety, health and environment. Salary: £56,766+ Dependent of experience What you’ll be doing • Conduct Human Factors Integration and Human Centred Design activities through the development lifecycle, including: determining the role of the human in complex systems; physical workspace design and human machine interface design, • Conduct comprehensive assessments within high-fidelity simulation and operational environments, engaging directly with end users including pilots, maintainers, trainers and support specialists across the Future Combat Air Systems Programme. In this role, you will act as an internal consultant and Subject Matter Expert, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to embed Human Factors principles across the product lifecycle. You will influence design decisions, provide specialist guidance, and ensure optimal human-system integration across cutting-edge air platforms.
