Perimeter Solutions are an established commercial fencing contractor delivering high-quality security fencing solutions across the Education, Industrial and High Security sectors. We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in construction-related fencing (not domestic/residential) to join our team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders for projects within: • Education sector (schools, academies, universities), • Industrial sector Key Responsibilities • Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications, • Preparing detailed take-offs utilising Bluebeam software, • Producing competitive and profitable tenders, • Developing relationships with our clients - both existing and new, • Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings where required, • Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction, • Specific experience in construction fencing (Palisade, Mesh, Acoustic fencing systems, etc.), • Experience pricing projects in Education, Industrial and Security sectors, • Strong understanding of pricing for principal contractors and end users, • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills, • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, • Mid-level experienced estimator: £45k-£55k, • Senior estimator with sector specialism: £55k-£65k+, • Company car or car allowance, • Generous performance-based bonus scheme, • Opportunity to work on high-profile projects, • Supportive and growing business environment
