Our client is a UK-based medical research organization turning early-stage science into therapies and diagnostics that improve patient outcomes. Working across rare diseases, global health, and chronic conditions, we collaborate with academic and industry partners to bring innovations closer to patients. We are seeking a highly organised Business Support to join a dynamic organisation within the life sciences sector. This role is ideal for someone with a background as an Executive Assistant, consultant, or project management professional who thrives in fast-paced, confidential environments. You will play a key role in supporting operational improvements, organisational design, and business-critical projects, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-level business and operational support to leadership teams, • Support organisational transformation initiatives (e.g. restructuring, designing organograms), • Assist in implementing systems, processes, and operational efficiencies, • Coordinate and manage confidential and sensitive projects, • Engage with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions, • Ensure smooth execution of project timelines and deliverables, • Support business operations within a scientific or life sciences environment Requirements • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Business Support, or similar role, • Background in consulting, project management, or business operations, • Experience within a scientific or life sciences organisation, • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive projects, • Strong stakeholder management skills, • Experience supporting organisational change or transformation initiatives, • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Desirable • Circa 3 years’ experience in consulting (or equivalent experience), • Exposure to operational improvement projects within scientific organisations, • Experience designing organisational structures (organograms), • Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) About Planet Pharma: Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
