You will gain hands-on experience managing conveyancing cases, including Right to Buy and Right to Acquire transactions, and play a key part in maintaining property records, Land Registry submissions, and compliance with legislative and professional standards. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people wholl help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives.Duties include: Ensure the effective execution of legal work for Incommunities, providing legal advice and support.Assist or prepare conveyancing legal documentation for freehold and leasehold, checking titles, reports, advice and guidance. Draft and check transfers, deeds, leases for sale and acquisition of property.Advise in property matters including property ownership, boundaries, title checks across the business. Deal with the day to day management of conveyancing cases allocated. Manage the conduct of cases including Right to Buy/Right to Acquire and other conveyancing matters including giving advice and making decisions. Updating and maintaining AssetCore and other systems in use.Assist the Legal Property Manager in reporting to the Lender on assets.To provide Land Registry administration including tasks for registration of property transactions, replies to requisitions, liaising with the Legal Property Team including submission of SDLT Returns prepared to appropriate professional standards.Maintain a personal awareness of legislative and case law developments.To assist in the future development of quality systems for the Property Team and to carry out duties in accordance with the stated or implied requirements of these systems including drafting, approving, reviewing and auditing procedures as required.About youExperience of working in a legal administration role and an awareness of legal processes. Knowledge of housing and property law would be advantageous. Have excellent IT and keyboard skills.Are an innovative, flexible and self-motivated person, with a diligent attitude in your approach to work.Are committed to personal development and continual learning.Are able to cope under time pressures and stressful situations. Have the ability to analyse issues objectively and without bias. Can manage a substantial workload and prioritise your own tasks.RequirementsA law degree or equivalent qualification such as CILEX Level 3 or SQE.The ability to undertake conveyancing, including the drafting of legal documentation, providing advice and assistance ensuring progress and completion of matters undertaken by the Property Team and Home Sales Team.A good working knowledge and understanding of property law and practice.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.A strong team work ethic and the ability to motivate and encourage others. Right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.
