    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. This is a paid position. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in our after school club, • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs, • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, • Maintain a clean and organised childcare environment, • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns, • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members, • Demonstrate leadership skills by effectively managing daily routines and activities Skills: • Strong leadership abilities to guide and supervise children effectively, • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices, • Experience working with children in a childcare setting, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff members, • Ability to provide nurturing care and support to children of various ages, • Proficient in English language, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities effectively, • Valid driver's license (if applicable) Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Benefits: Casual dress Childcare Company pension Discounted or free food Employee discount Flexitime Free parking On-site parking Sick pay Ability to commute/relocate: Haywards Heath RH17 6EN: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred) Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Experience: Nursery: 1 year (preferred) Management: 1 year (preferred) Childcare: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Willingness to travel: 100% (preferred) Work Location: In person
